Yampatika is located in Steamboat Springs, a western Colorado community with a population of 12,000 people. We are situated on the western side of the Continental Divide and surrounded by the Mount Zirkel, Service Creek, and Flattop Wilderness Areas with access to over one million acres of public lands.

We can be reached by calling (970) 871-9151 or by e-mail at info@yampatika.org. To reach a particular member of the staff, you can use Jenn@yampatika.org, Karen@yampatika.org, or Jada@yampatika.org.

You can drive to Yampatika to visit our displays, shop for books or maps, or participate in programs. Drive south on Route 40 (Lincoln Avenue) for about two miles from downtown. The next turn after the light at Walton Creek (onto Weiss Dr.) takes you to the Forest Service building and to us. (For those of you from out of town, you might think of it as driving east because your going toward Denver, but it is really south at that point.)
